For many families we serve, a fever means a day's lost wages and a three-hour bus ride. Small illnesses become serious ones simply because care is too far away.
Our mobile clinics visit 60 villages on a fixed weekly schedule, so people know exactly when a doctor is coming. Community health workers — women from the villages themselves — follow up on every pregnancy, every child under five, and every chronic patient.
