About us

Umeed Foundation is a Registered Public Charitable Trust (Reg. No. E-12345 (Pune)) registered under Sections 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. These terms apply to your use of this website and our donation services.

Donations

• All donations are voluntary and made in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.
• Donations directed to a specific programme will be used for that programme wherever possible. If a programme is fully funded or discontinued, we will use your gift where the need is greatest and let you know.
• Monthly donations recur on the same date each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time by emailing donors@umeedfoundation.org.
• Receipts and 80G certificates are issued electronically to the email address provided. A valid PAN is required for 80G certificates.
• Foreign contributions are accepted only in compliance with the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010.

Liability

We make every effort to keep this site accurate and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
