The challenge
Ask a woman in one of our villages what she would do with ₹5,000 of her own money and she'll tell you, instantly: school fees, a sewing machine, a roof that doesn't leak. She has had the plan for years. She just never had the money.
We organise women into self-help groups that save together and lend to each other. We train them in tailoring, food processing, digital payments and bookkeeping. And when a group is ready, we provide seed capital for its first enterprise.
